King Charles is dealing with a big health problem. The leader of the British monarchy has been told he has cancer, as said by the Palace.We don’t know exactly what type of cancer he has or how serious it is. But the Palace told everyone that he’s starting treatment today.A few days ago, King Charles went to the hospital for surgery because his prostate was enlarged. It was supposed to be a normal operation, but while doing it, doctors found out about the cancer. Even though they haven’t said what kind of cancer it is, it’s not prostate cancer.The statement from Buckingham Palace said, “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”
The statement also says that because of his treatments, King Charles will have to delay or change his royal responsibilities.“Today, His Majesty started getting regular treatments. Doctors have told him to hold off on doing public events for now. But he’ll still do his official work and paperwork like always.”
